Holiday activities & FOOD (HAF) Programme

No child should be left behind

Kirin Sport is proud to have worked with a number of schools this year enabling children, who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals, to take part in a fantastic range of holiday activities thanks to the HAF programme (holiday activities and food) launched and funded by the department for education in 2021. For children, the HAF programme offers a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, be active, eat well and thrive, giving children fresh opportunities to be adventurous, creative and brave, whilst pushing them beyond their own comfort zone. Kirin Sport, in partnership with schools, offers an extensive programme of free activities and events for eligible children during the main school holidays between the Spring half-term and the October half-term, including the Easter and Summer breaks.

HAF is an exciting and highly valued holiday provision that includes physical and creative activities, nutritious food and support for mental and physical well-being, encouraging children to live healthier and happier lives.

If you believe that no child should be left behind and the HAF programme is of interest to you and your school then please take the first step by getting in touch to find out how Kirin Sport can help you capitalise on the HAF funding thus enabling children from families with low incomes to be brave by trying something new and exciting that will enrich their lives. Please get in touch with us to find out more, even if your school does not meet the criteria for HAF funding, as we have other funding options available to us.
